Deconstructing Swan 1: A Fire in the Forest
So here's the first installment of my new video series. It's about a guy coming to terms with his new environment after returning from Japan. I don't want to ride the coat tails of Tokyo Swan, so I'm trying new things and the tone of this video is much different. Let me know what you guys think, I'm just trying something new here. Of interest in this video, I went to the Japan Festival 2008 at my college, and it's super cold out now. Enjoy.カテゴリー :Travel & Events

Great video, I really like the new series title. Hmm...subtle foreshadowing? Don't know, but like everyone else says keep making the videos. ジャネ~

hahahaha
Nah my point wasn't hating white people that like Japan, or hating white cosplayers...I'm hatting fat white cosplayers that look nothing like what their cosplaying...
That being said, a white chick with a nice face, ass, body, and tits can probably pull off anything, even a trash bag with holes cut out for arms and legs hahaha.....But sadly you never see hot white chicks at Japanese Festivals :'(
TkyoSam 2008-11-20
Yeah, I hate white people that are interested in japan too! Hey wait a sec.... o.O

You sexy bitch slap masters pinky squid puddle slam jamin space matadors!
Dude, good video and you hurry on back here to drink and kill people with me, ok>??

p.s-I loooooooooooove this new "audio preview feature :D

I hate American Japanese festivals because the majority of people there are fat white people attempting to cosplay but only end up looking like wannabes...My idea of a good Japanese festival does not include a fat girl with blonde hair and blue eyes dressed as L(from death note)...Its just not right...

OMG. It's snowing. Over here (CA) is still warm, so I still cannot wear my new sweater yet. I've been waiting for a cooler day. The Japanese festival seems like a lots of fun. I wish I was there and eating Oshiruko... :D

Interesting new series! I look forward to episode 2!!
RazikenXJapan 2008-11-20
I like the Woody Allen-esque monologue at the start. The series start provides a lot of insight into the mind of Swan and the after-effects of Japan. Good on ya, man. Can't wait for Episode 2.

A lot better than 95% of the Tokyo videos for sure. The fragmented couch talk was cool at the start, played by the end. Never just a mustache alone, the beard and stache together a hit! Love the new haircut too.

i like this new direction:)
oh and it's snowing in some parts of Japan now.not in tokyo though:( hopefully it will!!!(^-^)

I like it. I curious of where you are going to take the story. Really cool mini festival you went to.

That is strange. My school had a little Japanese festival today too. I didn't go because I had and have quite a bit of work to do. Darn.

thanks, i'd like to think I've grown as a video maker over the past year (still much to learn of course), so it was fun to challenge myself to try new things with this one. I hope I can continue to improve and offer new and interesting videos.

I think this video is better than anyone of your Japan videos. Great job.
rodgerswan 2008-11-20
yeah, it was a strange experience for me to be filming around where I live as opposed to Tokyo. I'm much more self conscious of it here haha.
