Actually, I was talking about being able to change into a SS without years of training, not whether Trunks can do it or not. Goku, Gohan, and future Trunks all required years of training, whereas little Goten and little Trunks were practically born with it (but little Trunks was conceived before Vegeta was able to change into a SS). Maybe Vegeta was just on a close verge, Trunks was born, and Vegeta trained his son hard.

Vegeta's genes are the most powerful of the Saiyans.. and Vegeta could indeed become stronger than Goku, but he didn't have his trainning and masters.. which makes Goku Confortably stronger.

It's probably genetic. Because Goku was a super saiyan when Goten was conceived, Goten inherited the SS. It doesn't explain Trunks being able to turn SS though, since Vegeta was definitely not a SS when he fell in love with Bulma.

Yeah I Chi-Chi is stronger than Videl because when it showed goten and her training, he kicked her pretty hard as a super saiyan; like if Videl got hit that hard I think she would of been knocked out lol. I might be wrong though.
