Beautiful movie. I saw the American version at the movies and told my boyfriend I thought I had seen it before. He thought I was mad :) then I figured out I had seen the Japanese version first! And I prefer the Japanese one I think.

Yes, this is a great movie. I liked it much better than the American version! We compared both of them in a Japanese class. It was very funny!

no. you dont understand.... this movie exactly title is "shall we dansu?" ..."dansu" is NOT "dance". this movie The story has a prologue about what dancing in Japan symbolizes sociologically. not "dance" in the U.S. due to different culture
