It was kinda she cut into your conversation and spoke a little too fast. Hello maneneko san! What he said to Eric in the end, that was called Japanese ''Tsukkomi''. He really didn't mean anything like GO HOME. It's supposed to be funny part but it just didn't look like, did it? I understand what you are saying though. Sometimes we have to be careful of doing those kinds of JP attitude to foreigner.
